Welcome to the Crafts and Do It Yourself  Projects page!  Girls, grab your glue guns, dust off those sewing machines and throw all of those old excuses in the recycle bin for another day.  Everyone, no matter your skill level or time constraints, has the ability to be crafty and creative.  Even if you don’t love it like we do, there are times where being creative and doing it yourself can save you big money– especially when it comes to decorating or gift giving.  Arts and crafts are also a great way to help your children develop fine motor skills and learn about the world around them through colors and textures.

So what will you find in the DIY and Crafts page?  There will be lots of craft ideas and tutorials to try with your kids.  Since imitation is the highest form or flattery, there will be lots of cool knock-off creations borrowed from your favorite stores, step-by-step directions for home improvement and decorative projects that are sure to dig up your creativity.  There will also be lots of inspiration to get you started on your own creations. 

Crafting doesn’t have to be a huge time commitment.  Most of our crafts here at Save Pray Smile are completed during nap time or after baby’s bed time.  And messes?  No worries about messes.  We are firm believers that some messes are worth it when they create something spectacular.
