Meet the Save Pray Smile Contributors
So many roles… so many blessings. Heather’s favorite titles are wife of the coolest guy she’s ever met, daughter to two people she is honored to also call close friends, sister to the most ambitious and hilarious woman she has on speed-dial, godmother to a sweet little New Yorker, friend and… [drum roll, please!] mama.
A paralegal during the day, Heather is otherwise Chief Chaser-in-Charge of a fast as greased lightning baby walker. She wakes up early every day to soak up quiet time with a cup of coffee… or two… while browsing around online. Accused of being a bit chatty, she likes to refer to herself as long-winded. Her version of fancy is a nice-fitting pair of jeans coupled with a simple top and heeled boots.
Her family, friends and three beloved senior citizen rescue dachshunds are all she needs to smile. She otherwise enjoys baking, trips to the farmer’s market, vacations anywhere, church and reading. Her new favorite hobby is blogging. Should she ever become rich, you’ll find her snoozing in a hammock on the beach somewhere. Since she is such a fan of all sections of Save Pray Smile, she will be blogging here and there across the board.
I am a woman of many titles– two of the most important being my full-time jobs as wife and mom. In comparison, I consider my eight to five job as a Dental Assistant part-time. My joy is found in these jobs, which God has equipped me for. I’m Royale, a blogger and host to online Bible studies at Save Pray Smile.
I am southern through and through and have a heart of gold that I tend to wear on my shoulder. I love helping friends and even those who are not friends. Some of my favorite things are spending time with family, studying God’s word, reading, blogging, working in the yard, watching thunderstorms while listening to the rain, drinking coffee, baking, trying new recipes and finding good sales/deals. Adding on to the list this year, my husband and I have taken on bee-keeping, canning and raising backyard chickens.
I live my life in search of the heart of God; allowing Him to fully control and mold me in all areas of my life. That being said, I value the life He has given me and make the best of it through the good times and the bad.
I have been with a wonderful man for almost eight years; married for four of them. He has a true heart after God, and that alone makes me love him more and more daily. Our pride and joy is our almost two-year-old son, Noah. I can’t write this intro without also mentioning the guard of the house– our sweet dog, Maggie.
Encouraging and inspiring all of you wives and moms out there with the teachings that God is giving me is the passion for and purpose of my blogs. I look forward to joining together with you to capture the heart of God in our lives.
Sarah is mom to a two-year-old tiny demanding human named Andrew. She has just come to terms with the fact that she now drives a min-van, though she still refuses to wear mom jeans. She would not be able to stay at home with her son if it were not for her super-husband of five years, who provides the financial support, and her mommy friends, who provide the emotional support.
Sarah works as a substitute preschool teacher and occasionally works as a swim instructor. In her pre-baby life, she was a babysitter, lifeguard, camp counselor, nanny, Logistics Manager and Health and Safety Program Planner. She has come to realize that motherhood is all of these jobs and so much more. Luckily, she finds the humor in the life that happens between the poopy diapers.
She spends her days planning her next party or play date, designing and assembling train track setups, battling her laundry pile and making food that her picky toddler won’t eat. She has an addiction to Facebook, cheese fries, cook books, pedicures and craft blogs.
Erin is a stay-at-home mom who knows first-hand how challenging it can be to maintain your own identity while still being the best wife and mother you can be. She has been happily married for 10 years to her better half, Trevor. The voices echoing in her head with cries of “MOM!” belong to Tucker (8), Simon(5) and Annie Kate (4). Rounding out the bunch are their Westie, Duncan, and lazy feline, Friskie. They make their home near Athens, Georgia and are proud to be Georgia Bulldog fans!
Erin would spend lots of time curled up with a good book and a hot cup of hazelnut coffee– her pup at her side– if time were no object. In reality, this talkative social-butterfly can be found most of the time either busy volunteering at the kids’ schools, singing in the church choir, tackling her mountain of laundry, refereeing her children, spending time with friends or in the kitchen. Erin enjoys all things creative and has a special spot in her heart for children with special needs.
Erin counts it a blessing to be able to share some of her lessons learned and inspirations gained on this road of motherhood through her blogs. Check them out in our Mommy Moments and Inspirations section. You can read all about the chaotic hilarity of Erin’s life in her personal blog, The Rollins Report.
